ANGel

I miss you so much

Please come back to me

I’m not waiting on the floor

Where we met

I’m waiting for you

Where we last met

In our Dreams

You’re the one my Heart wants

The one I cry out for in the dead of night

Somewhere between this world and the Dream

Because what we shared was real

For me

In that meadow

The lake, the clouds

I wait for your return

Without you

I won’t dance

Never felt such a connection

As I did with you

That night in the park

Never have fallen so deeply into someone’s eyes

So tonight instead of dancing

I sit here

Under candle light

Writing to you

So you know

I’ve been thinking of you

Praying for your return

Because I got to learn your Heart

And I fell in Love with it

As I close

A smile comes to mind

When I think of your happiness

You were a Dream I never wanted to let go of

Good night ANGel

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
