    Angelic Cherub

    Angelic presence,
    Heaven sent;
    fortune be mine
    that you came to me.
    Cherubic-
    sweet, soft and pure;
    eyes of innocent
    sweet adoration;
    follow me
    with intent concentration;
    each moment
    alluding to imagination's fortitude.
    How is it that I ever
    lived each day,
    without the brightness
    of your smile;
    the invigorating euphoria
    of your laugh:
    musically sublime.
    Sweet prince,
    how quickly you claimed
    my heart-
    intertwined your soul
    with that of my own.
    Giving me strength
    I could never have imagined,
    beneath the walls,
    illusion built-
    many many years ago.
    Afraid to allow
    the inner glow,
    the gentle heart
    rekindled depth;
    emotions smothered-
    love betrothed
    to introvert's delight.
    With a kiss
    you awoken within
    a wisp of who
    I use to be.
    Reminding a fool,
    who lost their way,
    to live life
    to the fullest;
    free your soul
    and fly free.

    I am delighted with the magic of your poetry. When I read your enchanting words I hear a symphony playing in the background each word is a crescendo that gets stronger with the beat of excellence and you leave me with a feeling of warmth. Totally awesome!
