    Another attempt at Haiku. I want you all to know that there is a price to be paid for my brutal honesty amongst the other poets here at OP. It's not worth it right now, but when I am gone forever, honesty will have paid off for future generations.

    It all comes down to what you value in life the most. And if you look at your friends, you will see what you value.

    You are my dearest friend from childhood, partially because you are always truthful with me. Do I like to hear the truth? Hell No. So if I dont want to hear the truth and you always tell me the truth, then why do I ask you the questions? Because deep down inside, my conscience needs validated. You keep me honest with myself.

    And remember this too: God made woman different from a man, and it was good. By the way... If I have 5 apples, and I write a poem called, "The Two Apples", why does everyone assume there are ONLY two Apples? There can be one group that tells the truth, one groip that has friends, and one group that has both. I just didn't write about the third kind of person. You are in the group of the best kinds of people.

    It's so true in many aspects of life. Politics is a big one. Apparently the word "change" when repeated incessantly will get you elected as president. People love hearing only what they want to hear. 10

    Artie you are so right on. I think we have a politician on our hands that tells everyone what they want to hear. And that is enough for most, to believe that they will get what is promised to them. Good observation, my friend!
