One of the most horrible
Things in my life
Was knowing I might have
To kill him with a gun or a knife

 I struggled for two years
Of having this terrible thought
But I told God It was
Going to be another battle I lost

 I told God I just can’t
Take anymore hurt and pain
My mind was going fast
It was driving me insane

 I stood over him one night
With a gun, tears streaming down my face
I said why am I here God
I seem so out of place

 I’ve been told by many
Not to tell this story
But I have to, to
Give God all the glory

 He sent a special angel
That would save my life
We fell in love and later
She became my wife

 He saw me hurting
And crying, standing there
He took this time to prove
He does ANSWER PRAYER
