Anxiety

Fears and dread of possible
actions that are carried out
in secrecy and never brought to light

Eyes for another constantly
roaming and wishing for more
than what is given

Giving all and everything is not
enough to occupy your heart
and keep it true to only one

Knowing but never knowing who, how many
or when but only knowing it happened
and does all the time

Clinging to a heart not meant
for me but many and praying
monogamy will soon be mine

a careless whisper in my ear to watch
my back keep guard and not
give my heart away

I hold it for you in a pretty pink box
ready at a moments notice to give it all
to you for eternity

Waiting for that one moment in time where you are mine
and only mine until their is no breath in my body
Waiting for that one moment that one sunset
where all dreams come true and holding
in a breath just to make it come that much faster
