    Poem Commentary

    This is for manny. I love you why cant you see. For times to tell is say it well.

    Argue

     From sun up till sun down
    we yell and scream
    why can't you see,
    the only thing  ask
    is for you to love me to
    But in truth all that comes out
    is arguing till were blue in the mouth
    I could never see why
    You do love me
    When all you say i do
    is make mistakes,
    I'm only human,
    as a human can be,
    I've made mistakes
    i admit it true
    but the one thing people say
    the mistake is you
    I love you more each day
    staying up and staying up all day,
    I only wish one thing from you now,
    You say love is what you have for me
    well tell me this
    why am i the only one that does things wrong
    the hurt is enough for you to see
    I know you like to see me suffer
    But to tell the truth i just wanna see you this summer,
    i have so much to say
    but i cant till may
    I just hope you know,
    all I've done in this land,
    All the thing i have said,
    all the things I've tried to mend,
    Just let me tell you one thing
    I LOVE YOU!

    I once read a poem about two lovers who became totally indifferent to one another. Now that is sad, each sentence ended with the words without thinking, without feeling. When all people do is argue until they are blue in the face they have a lot of pent up emotions they can't express to one another. When one person constantly ridicules the other they themselves are insecure. When a person feels they have to correct the wrongs they have been ridiculed about and seek that love and approval, they are unsure of themselves and lack confidence. Your wonderful poem emphasized the fact that neither party knew how to really get what they needed from the other.If I was the one being ridiculed ( at my ripe old age) I would probably say "Get lost you insecure buffoon. I will do better. "That is neither nice or effective. If I was the one who felt the continual need to badger my lover I would leave and find my dream of perfection instead of wasting my time on the person and If I truly had sense I would suggest we both seek help and patch the relationship since it seems these two people are very much in love. A great write on what happens in dysfunctional relationships.

    i love the cycle of violence in poems. gives them a lil spice of life. its a dawn of time argument. and its sad the the men are always depicited as the one with the louder more offensive voice. great job either way
