    Arithmea
    unsteadily beating, with no rythym at all,
    or so it would seem to slow to a crawl
    thump thump, thump...thump.

    will it stop? cease an existence?
    or stay online, with undue persistence.
    thump...thump... ...thump

    fast and slow, heavy and light
    moods can dictate the pressures height
    thump thump thump thump

    until the end of blood passing through
    calling of the lord, your time is due.
    thump...thump... ...thump... ... ...

    end.

    Very profound take on a very real issue...we are only promised today...and with weak hearts...tomorrow is even more question :)...I understand this more than I care to admit....great write, darned...and to make it beautiful...that's an accomplishment!

    I like the dramatic, while being sincere - life and death, the beginning of blood flow and the end to the soul. Very good - write on!
