    As We Bleed

    As I stand here
    As I sit here
    As I lay here
    Bleeding…
    No matter what I do
    I can’t control it
    I can’t stop it
    Bleeding…
    Some will bleed
    Bleed to stop pain
    They choose to bleed
    Bleeding…
    As those choose to bleed
I sit here and choose not to
But how can I stop it
    Bleeding…
They do not need to bleed
    But we need to bleed
Why is that, I like to know
    Bleeding…
    The only ones that bleed
    Are the ones that choose
The ones that have no control
    Bleeding…
    So many have control
But what if, just what if
    Control is not enough
    Bleeding…
We sit here and we bleed
    Some don’t mind it
    Some of us hate it
But that is life for us
    Until we have a baby
Or we get to that age
    We don’t have any control
    No control to choose
    To choose not to bleed
Why, all I ask is why
    Why do use women
    Have to bleed
    Bleed every month
    Seven days a week
    BLEEDING….

bleeding isn't the worse part of it. haha. And having no control is no fun, I 100% agree on that part. Without a doubt. Nice way to express that time of the month.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
