Why look back?
What is there?
Do you think it is still there?
How can you be so naive
To believe that things stay the same?
Dont you know that everything changes?
No matter what.
It either rusts,
Breaks,
Tarnishes,
Burns,
Cracks,
Falls,
Rots,
Ages,
Amongst other things.
Take it in stride,
That is all you can do for now.
Live in the moment,
Not what you can do later.
You lose yourself,
The more you talk,
The less you live,
The less time you have.
If you want it,
Get it.
By your means,
Or others,
It will not be there later.
To have,
And not use,
Is a waste to us all.
Why not use it?
Save us all the trouble.
Do it now,
Quit storing for later,
You might not live long enough to.
So use it now,
Make simple joy of it,
Let the world know,
Or keep it to yourself,
So long as it is not spent in vain,
Wasting away.
How can you look back?
Try to swim up stream?
It is possible,
You know,
But that bear up there,
It confirms,
That it is safe no more.
That it has changed,
Since you have been.
So why look back?
Quit being naive.
Look ahead.
Plan it not.
Plans never work.
Live in the moment.
Get yourself together.
Be able to fall asleep,
Dream about it all,
What you have done,
Not what you wish you could have.
Make those childhood dreams come true,
Live them as you see fit,
Dare to live.
And then do it again tomorrow.
