Autumn Mist
Autumn mist comes rolling in…
And settles all around…
Quiet breeze is whispering…
In you is where I’m found…
Like this mist that surrounds…
You inundate my being…
My feet planted upon the ground…
Though my heart knows no ceiling…
You lift me up to heights unknown…
I am floating on the breeze…
Like bird aloft I’ve flown…
To gently settle on bended knee…
And on my knee before you…
I take your hand in mine…
A clouded eye like morning dew…
Evermore to be thine…
I pledge my love and my heart…
Forever to be true…
This I have known from the start…
It has always been you…
So take my hand and walk with me…
Let autumn’s mist surround…
As we journey to what will be…
To live this love we’ve found…
