    Toads hide in withering rye

    Silent sighing

    Ravens flying

    Meadows dying

    Summer substance sinking in mud

    Rime trance

    Rain dance

    Umbrella romance

    Bittersweet viruses in my blood

    Failed crops

    Rain drops

    Train stops

    Dirt deep in discomposure

    Rotten fence

    Memory bends

    It ends

    With an alarming lack of closure

    Autumnal equinox and its gathering of decadence and melancholia to which life itself becomes nothing more nor less than the painted face of an aging starlet__Only to renew us once again through a solstice that is as vernal as "eternal spring"___How strange is it that the older I get, the more I care to romanticize about Autumn_ So much emotion in this wonderful write__Thanks

    I love this!! The visuals are very strong, the rhyme scheme is light and it makes for a very easy and rhythmic read, and that has to be the greatest last line I've read in AGES... nicely done :)
