Away

    Away

I look in your eyes and in your face

I feel your heart in another place

I hear your voice and thoughts in your mind

I wish it was time to be alone

You and I free to roam

When it’s time you’ll let me know

You’ll hold me tight and not let go

Let your desires take your soul to the place

     That only we shall go

Where our mind, body and souls are one

Forever and ever in eternal sun

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
