    Baby I'm SORRY!

    Please, do not cut this cord.  You are my blood supply.

     

    I am ashamed, of your, hurt and pain.  Baby, may I wipe the tears from your eye?

     

    I realize I can not, take back those words, that, tore you apart.

     

    I, apologize, I admit!  I mis-used love, from the start.

     

     

    I was blind to see, that you, did your best.  All you forgave, I took for granted.

     

    And still, I asked for more.  Naw!  I didn’t ask.  I fuckin demanded.

     

    There’s no need, to be forgiven, for the, distain-wicked-force you speak.

     

    Please baby,  no divorce.  If necessary, help I’ll seek.

    I didn't rate your poem the first time because I wanted to close down my laptop and see hwat I remembered about your poem. Thats the true test of how good it is. Poetry is like a bank account, you have to put something into it, in order to get something out of it. The best poets are those who put themselves into their work. you responded to her poem with logic. Women are not logical, we are emotional. You should have told her "I love you".
