    B.C.

    Soaring thru the heavens
My thoughts that come to me
Remind me of the old times
    Before we were really free
This day and age it seems so simple
To hide just exactly what we are
But way back when so long ago
They hunted us far and wide
    All across our Mother Earth
They tried to flush us out
    Burnings, stakings, decapitations
But we were strong and stout
For centuries we have walked this earth
    For centuries we have preyed
Upon the mortals of this place
And we shall never ever go away.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
