    Beautiful Butterfly

    I look at your wings there such beautiful things
    As you flutter by catching my eye
    I wonder how God made you this way
    To give us pleasure every day


    So many colours of every design
    Sweet little butterfly I know you are mine
    You are so blue and soft to the touch
    But I must be gentle I love you so much

    You are easily hurt I don't want you to die
    Stay a while longer flying so high
    Just take a rest on my sweet flowers
    I know I could watch you for hours and hours

     

    The birds in the heavens have stopped there sweet song
    Summer is over winter wont be long

    And soon my sweet butterfly you will be gone
