Beautiful Mistakes
Life is full of mysteries
Take you where you've never been
Some will shed their skin for you
And let you peer within
But some will never open up
THey'll just lead your heart astray
until that day you realize
You've lost some time along the way

But I know that you can get there
And at times your heart may break
How can you have a beautiful ending
Without making beautiful mistakes

There's times you'll sit and wonder
How you've gotten where you are
You lost the path that was given you
When you wished upon a star
In time the way will be made clear
And you'll be on your way
but don't forget those misteps you took
That brought you to this day

'Cause I know that you can get there
And at times your heart may break
How can you have a beautiful ending
Without making beautiful mistakes

So take the high road
When you can
Don't be afraid to take those chances
And you will find yourself
Where you want to be
Where the dream of your future dances

So don't wonder how you'll get there
Cause life won't come to find you
Take some time and search your mind
For that feeling that reminds you
Of the dreams that you've been dreaming
Of the life you long to live
Remember all of the memories
And the times you've had to give

And I know that you can get there
And at times your heart may break
How can you have a beautiful ending
Without making beautiful mistakes
