Beautiful Stranger

Poem Commentary

It's that time of the year.... for fear!!!

Beautiful Stranger

I met her late one night

On my way home from I don't care and nowhere

Lately I’ve walked lonely street repeatedly

Needing more than nothing

So when she appeared out of seemingly nowhere

I didn't question or contemplate

Her warm breath was inviting

And her hot skin touched my longing

Without words we moved into the shadows

Her nakedness secretly surreal

Our uniting denying who and what we are

The needs real, with no need for explanation

Sleep crept in sometime in the darkness

Exhaustion earned without questioned emotions

Two bodies sexually strained

While remaining strangers

All that remained was her blood red stilettos

Tucked back beneath the bed

Like a Cinderella nightmare

A disappearing spirit vanished with the night

What the Hell was her name

Why was there an emptiness remaining

Then there in the mirror the reflection was revealing

There will be no healing from her presence

Etched upon my face

Carved deep into my flesh

Colored fresh with my crimson liquid

A jagged bleeding heart

Only the stabbing pain was within my chest

And I found that with the excitement

That I could barely breathe

Forced to gasp with sporadic breath

Ripped with the precision of her passion

A gaping hole spread wide across my breast

Fully exposed; there beat my hemorrhaging heart

My sight slowly faded

As I hit the cold marbled floor

A ghostly figure reached through the doorway

My last vision - the vaporized knife slicing through the air

While a pale trembling hand slowly disappeared

Some time with them type of night it feel as though your spirit was just torn apart with not a place to go but to think back and wish you never did it but you did.

this has just the right amount of creepy to keep you reading and enough emotional sexiness to make the reader really want it to turn out to be ok.....but it can' a one night stand from heaven and hell all wrapped up in one.

I really like the way that you viewed my work - Thank YOU

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
