Poem Commentary

Spur of the moment write. Written on phone so not that good, hope you like it anyways.

Beauty Of the Storm

In each creation there is a beauty
In each rain drop there a chaotic tranquility.
Within the dream of motions that remain untold
purity within itself no mortal can truly behold

Wind and hail of water and life we know so little of
No hatred to be found, a peace of chaos balancing itself out
And I cry out for understanding how such clarity can be eternal
Internal survival unable to be anything but forever more

Neverending change, always the same, brilliance no mortal can comprehend
Neverending, forever transcending, immortal trend, beauty within.
But the moment is over and calm has returned but for a moment
The peace to find, the chaos to return before the end

The beauty that touched me, to hold for forever
But forever is but a second. A second, but then it's over

The amazing thing about this is that you proablly expereicned everything you have written within less than a second. It amazes me how those increments of moments last in our minds a lifetime, if not forever. :)

A wondrous exposition on the limitless tangents each instant/event produces. Time and space are relative, and we restrict ourselves by insisting that the myriad phenomena to found in creation may only be defined by the way we choose to perceive them. Extraordinary insight, Superchick76—absolutely luminous verse; one might even say—Brilliant! : )

Thank you so very much for this amazing comment, my friend... might even be better than the poem itself! Lol, probably is. Thank you :)

The majestic and captivating beauty of nature’s fury-truly a moment of inspirational awe for those fortunate enough to see. I had this fortune to watch the sky darken, watch as flashes of lightening pierced the ashen sky and feel the driving rain pound against my face, an experience worth any discomfort of chill. “I am a being of Heaven and Earth, of thunder and lightning, of rain and wind, of the galaxies.” ~Eden Ahbez Odd how natures so much a part of everyday existence and yet people give so little neither to her. Excellent work, despite what you said in chat Super.

Wow, on the phone, quick write and it still amazes me. Sometimes I feel smarter after reading you for having learned something, other times I feel dumb, because you are so deep I have to re-read ur stuff like 5 times just to scratch the surface. I like how your poems make my THC laced brain think haha. The first lines drew me in, especially 'In each rain drop there a chaotic tranquility.' Reminds me of the science of Fractals and how it relates to physics. That there are worlds beyond us that cannot be seen or even comprehended. Now with the invention micro telescopes we can see some of these microscopic worlds that we never knew existed, or were at least theoretical. Makes me think if someone is looking down on us through a telescope, looking upon our microscopic world, and our armegeddon is but a raindrop falling upon us from thier vast world, as someone even larger looks down upon them. Damn, I am rambling, well this is where your poem took me anyways Haha. Sorry. ~Spence

Not babble, dear, I have had many the same thoughts... espcially whilst watching the rain. Thank you so much for your comment!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
