Becoming New

A Story of Becoming New

My generation can be a story of becoming new

My brothers and sisters can be a story of becoming new

My tomorrow and yours can be a story of becoming new

We are made to love each other and ourselves

A generation made to be a story of becoming new

Of finally learning from the previous mistakes

Finally making changes where others have fallen

Brothers and sisters, a story of becoming new

Learning to love ourselves despite our differences

Learning to love each other in spite of our differences

Tomorrow is always a story of becoming new

Trying again where you once failed

Repairing relationships injured by time

Loving each other and ourselves

Learning differences make us better not seperate

Finding we are single parts of one

Instead of being a fish swimming against the current

A generation that is becoming new

A family of people that are becoming new

A chance for the world to say we finally get it right

If we're willing to step up and be...

like the 11th commandment to love everyone, i gave it a ten

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
