    Bitter Sun

    The sun comes this morning

    the bearer of bad news

    the bringer of bad tidings

    a ruthless slaughterer of dreams

    for today, this day

    the sun serves as a reminder

    that sometimes, the sweetest

    most vivid dreams must end

    now I am forced to get out of bed

    though I don't want to

    forced to relive over and over

    in my mind

    retained fragments of the life I lived

    last night while I was sleeping

    forced to function with that aching feeling

    that something is off

    something is missing

    I long to return to sleep

    just a little longer

    to complete unfinished buisness

    today the sun has stripped me

    of a dream that had so gripped me.

    you remind that people who see the sun daily forget him in their life, but your poetry has trhown light instead of sun light throwing light in our lives, that life without sun is like a wife without a son. good work . thanks for your comment on my work. good luck
