    Bitter Sweet

    Bitter Sweet,
after the win that has been won way to early.
just so shame shows another's noble demise,
heaven transends masked as our modern trends,
Glorified and revered, a rested ear lay upon
    these every words of insight.
Why shall such foolish loyalties plague us like a
    zombies winter night.
Just for it all to be certain, in the end
    it will be just that
    the end......

Intriguing metaphors... I exceptionally like "a zombies winter night" - emotional being, the end and the beginning!

The win that has been won too early - the thrill of the chase always tops the victory - 10 from me

Quoth the raven never more. The house of usher divided cannot stand.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
