BLACKNESS

BLACKNESS

The blackness envelopes me,
folding its dark edges against me,
swalloing the light i try to hold on to.

The blackness controlling me,
letting its darkness whisper its evil,
extinguishing the light.

the blackness destroying me,
the darkness ruling me,
the lith shines no more.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
