Bleeding

I feel so hollow I cannot breathe As my blood profusely begins to seethe A silver blade I thought was my friend has cut me open and I'll never mend for the pain just overrides the pain So I walk and walk this endless lane With every forced and painful breath I take one step closer to inviting death I want to watch it arrive at my door I want to feel myself fall to the floor My only desire is to mend.. But that is impossible. I need it to end.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
