    Bliss

    The endings near us all

Seems so happy as we fall

    To the eyes that see

    Ears that hear

    The sounds so bliss

    The words unspoken

Yet still as sweet to hear

    Eyes speak what they feel

    Silent and together

    Yet still so much spoken

    With in the time

    The heart craves the feeling

    Unspoken but still seen

    Entwined by limbs

    Silent and still.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
