Blood = Pain = Love
In the shower,I spot the blade.
(please don't do that to yourself)
Hot water running over body.
Deep breath.
Thrash into right thigh.
(Why must you cut?)
(Can't you just be normal and cry?)
(How does this help?)
Unable to see how crying helps.
Go deeper.
Finish with multiple on right thigh.
Move to left leg.
Blood covering the right.
Feeling nothing.
Releasing the pain
Blood = Pain = Love.
Blood going down the drain.
(How can I stand here and watch you cut,
But wake up with bloody cuts on my thighs
Instead of yours?)
