Poem Commentary

(submitted for Daily Poetry Challenge 6.15.09 on originalpoetry.com forums in thread "Let's play the blues")

BLUES (acrostic) (c) Copyright 2009

Buried my heart in the soil of your rejection
Loveless day, lonesome night
Under the spell of misery
Every silent chord you play
Speaks volumes.

You are very good at the acrostic pieces...I sure can really see this being the true meaning behind the blues. Good job...I say good job...and after that...I hand you these kudos :)

This poem says so much in just a few lines. It is so straightforward and captures the love lost and the sadness of rejection,
