Blustery Winter Day

The weathermen say snow for today.
It will be dumpish and cold all the way.

I looked out the window and saw a white site.
Should I go out and have a snowball fight?

No, at my age it wouldn't be too good for me,
I would probably fall down and skin my knee.

Oh well, I think maybe I should read a good book,
And stay warm and cozy in my little reading nook.
