    • No poetic puns or fancy frazes, just 3 words that drive me crazy- "I Love You"

    "Breaking Free"

It's been hard, hard this road I've walked on and it's nearly wore the soles off my feet.
I have no where to hang my poncho or to place to rest the moccasins from my feet.
But I sit in fields of grass and the butterflies call me home.
And I had a dream that I kissed the moon and shook the hand of God.
When I look into the stars I see the secrets of my soul starring back at me.
I know all I am to be is somewhere inside running free.
No longer lost in the dark winds that howl.
No longer running with stormy skies.
I'm breakin' free from this gypsy seen and gonna sit for awhile.
It's time to slow down, get out from the lost and found
Livin' easy, wild and free ain't all that it's cracked up to be.

One itty-bitty typo...line 9 scene. Lol! This is a wonderful expression of forced rejuvenation. That is a good thing! We speak ourselves well...or ill. I'm coming back to read more!!!! Love it.

How true my friend its time to stop and smell the roses great poem Marie

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
