    Poem Commentary

A poem that I didn't think I would ever finish, but look at that. I actually did.

    Breaking In Each Other's Arms

You’ll rest softly in my arms,
    The one I’ve always wanted,
I’ll keep you safe from harm,
Isn’t that what I’ve always dreamed of?

    Sometimes
    People lie
    To keep what they want
    From a world of harm
    Sometimes
    Our mouths deceive us
    And hide the best part
    From a worthy audience

    I believe
Something out there will teach us
    To be human
    And I can see
You and I growing up with each other
    In front of an audience
I Believe is worthy to watch the magic.

    And we’ve just begun
A path of destruction that will destroy
All things we hate and love
But we will start a new
    We’ll find a new world
    And melt in it together.

    Our dreams will break,
    And so will our minds.
But we can break in each other’s arms.
    That’s what we’ve always needed,
    Each other
Two hearts pulsing in the darkness
    As one.

"That’s what we’ve always needed, Each other Two hearts pulsing in the darkness As one" — beautiful poetic and deeply sexy.

You are officially my new favorite poet (you should be blushing. It was Edgar Allen Poe before)

Oh my gosh! Thank you! You are being so nice! He he. I LOVE Edgar Allen Poe. he is excellent, there is no way that you could like me over him. :)

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
