    Poem Commentary

    Many times we struggle with decisions on how to display kindness, love, and human concern. We think that money and material things are what we need to send the message of hope. Yes, money is necessary! However, we need to first focus on the things that are truly FREE! When you give someone a smile instead of a frown-the smile is FREE! A simple "PAT-ON-THE-BACK" or a positive word of encouragement are all FREE! I cannot go through a day without performing some R.A.K. I hope each of you who read this poem will give it a try-TODAY!

     There are many things in life that are free.
    The smiles we give and the air we breathe.
    The kindness when we say "hello" or "how are you"!
    These are free things that we all should do!

    Breathe free as you pass out the R.A.K.
    I know you are wondering; what is that?
    Before this poem is through you will know what to do!
    Random Acts of Kindness, free things that are true!

    Free things in life like the free air we breathe.
    Like a treasured close friend you never want to leave.
    The best things in life are things that are free!
    These things can be done on land and sea!

    Keep breathing free, in and out.
    Life up your voice in a mighty shout!
    Live your life to the fullest, and fulfill your dreams!
    Breathe free everyday, it's not as hard as it seems.
