Broken Bones

Broken Bones

Common pain with life to blame
Can’t run away or call to shame

Broken bones and killing blows
Stabbing pain can raise the gauge

Incredulous and empty bliss
Can’t go through life without a miss

Broken ones are left to suffer
More than one self-destroyer

Broken bones can always break
Nothing that this world can’t take

I like this poem broken bones, you have a rare talent for one being 13, if you are 13. Very descriptive write. I have poem posted simply titled Pain. Give it a read when you have time. 10 from me.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
