Broken people
Broken people break people.
It's a vicious cycle that never ends.
The broken become the breakers,
The ones taken become the takers.
Hurt once, they hurt others forever,
creating more broken people.
An endless cycle.
You can't break me though,
I've been broken my whole life.
I had a silly idea that two broken people
could help each other become whole.
It didn't work just tore us further apart.
We can't be fixed, but unlike you
I choose to break no one else.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
