    Broken Times
    Who am I to judge
    Who are you to judge
    I only know what I feel is wrong
    I find comfort knowing my heart is still strong
    Weakened --yes, but still beats for you my love
    How do you say goodbye to someone so special
    Will I ever see you again
    Will you look away

    I don’t want to be without you but
    I am woman enough to wish you well
    Where that leaves me only God will tell
    It goes to show how much I really know
    Shit!

    Life will still be here when I take my next breath
    Maybe tomorrow will show I am legit
    I asked the Lord to take me away
    But I can’t quit
    I won’t die

    I am here, and so are you
    So are we
    Let us live

    yep..."paved paradise, put up a parking lot" as Joni Mitchell once sang... you just don't realise sometimes, whatcha got til it's gone. Nice poem... write on!

    Now I know why you said you could relate to one of my poems. I can see you are very passionate and loving. Even when you are hurt and in pain you still have so much love to give. Much respect and love stay up! and keep up the good work

    Well done dear, I could feel your pain as you wrote the words. I kind of got lost though, you started out with a rhyme and then drifted away from it. Your true feelings were evident and with some regret. I hope things are better now. Keep writing and
