broken

You can't break me
I'm already broken
Just sewn back together
Words that remain unspoken
Broken hearts, broken homes
Broken trust, broken bones
Broken's all that I've been shown
Broken's all I've ever known
We've broken up
I'm broken down
I've broken in
But can't break out
Broken glass under my feet
Broken bonds with those I meet
Broken, still breaking
Cold and still shaking
Wanting, still taking
Breaking away
Making me stay
I wait another day

I like the poem, it is dark and yet very truthful for a lot of people, me included. Keep writing.

Fabulous! A piece of priceless art. One of my favs. This could be cried from the mountain top, and all would listen.

That was cool... catchy rhythm. 10!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
