• Lost Love

    I woke this morning
    Covered in glass
    Bleeding the blood of pain
    Crying sorrow’s tears
    I feel broken
    Like this sheet of glass
My soul’s bleeds for it has been rejected
Thrown away by the one that I love
She made the world grey when she went away
    She took my mountains
Made them crumble to the floor
    I cry
    I stand in my misery
    Questioning myself
    Blaming my mind
For it got lost in the time
    And lost in our bed
I begged for you to come back
    But you walked away
Not hearing the screams and tears that fell from my face
You neglected me like a person passing a stranger
    You closed the door
Not a word to be said
    No good-byes
    You left me here alone
    Cold and damp
    Bleeding and broken
You left me alone wondering where to go

I am amazed with your work how deep your poems get and how beautiful and heartfelt they are. keep them comming

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
