    Bullet Hole
    Who can you trust and who can you love,
    When love kills like someone gave Cupid a gun,
    They say love isn't love until someone gets hurt,
    So why am I the one whose face is covered in dirt,
    Even thought I did nothing wrong I'm the one to blame,
    Which just points out the fact that all men can be the same,
    There's enough tears in my heart to flood the sea,
    And when it dries up I pray that its just you and me,
    Love is like Heaven but it burns like Hell,
    And it doesn't help the fact I'm still caught in his spell,
    I dropped down to my kness and looked up to the sun,
    I questioned my God asking "What have I done?",
    I so confused right now I can't even think,
    I've been staring in space for so long I can't even blink,
    Cupid's deadly voice is what I'm used to hearing,
    It's like being tied to the trunk of his car and nobody's steering,
    Cupid won and waited 'til I turned my back and shot me with his gun,
    Now its too late to try and run so I'm laying dead and it's over and done,
    I have no one here in which I can be consoled,
    So I lay here with my heart pierced by this bullet hole.

    "Love is like Heaven but it burns like Hell" - perfection being married has it's up and downs. and there is no other way to explain love...love hurts, it's not easy...i could never find the right description of the famous Q "so how do you like being married" this line sums it all up....

    Once again, you almost leave me speechless. LOL, I don't think I can read anymore of your poems-the way that you write has a tendency to draw in its reader-your words are very consuming-you can tell that whenever you write, it comes from your heart-all the love and pain, and you pour all of you into your writings. Again, YOU ARE ONE OF A KIND!!!!

    I like the Jamalie poem better. This just doesn't flow as well. Um, men can't all be the same. Just my $.02. Thanks for the read. Your writing shows much promise.
