Burning Love

Burning Love

My heart pounded in my chest every time you came near.
My lungs seemed not able to get enough air.
When you touched me my skin became a flame.
My eyes Tightly closed.
My lips awaited yours.
My hands wanting to touch you.
My soul reaching to hold yours.
The waiting seemed forever.
I slowly open my eyes and find you are just a dream.

it's very good short and sweet, but very different and people can relate to what you are saying it would be a very nice song, although it is a very nice poem within itself, so keep writing and you'll get better every time grecowong@yahoo.com

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
