    Poem Commentary

Spring has come to scandinavia once more

    Bursting

Flowers are bursting thru the thawing dirt

I feel like having a premature summer flirt

Pass the joint and spread the word

Of the wonderful news that I’ve just heard

Revelations are bursting out of my revitalized mind

Let’s leave the dormant far behind

I give up on truth and I accept that I’m blind

“Each pray’r accepted, and each wish resign’d”

My chest is bursting and I’m caught in the act

It’s time to make good on a drunken pact

Life is way short, that’s a matter of fact

The world’s in movement and I’m about to react

Leaves are bursting out of the waking trees

I beat around her bush and I’m being such a tease

Headfuls of hair pupeteered by a pleasant breeze

Could this be the promised land of do-as-you-please?

Emotion bursting from the words that she said

A very special someone is lying in my bed

The mood is mellow and the sundown is red

In league with the living I accept god is dead

Bubbles are bursting in my beer

Acceptance is tearing at my veneer

Jump right in, the water’s clear

What do you know, spring is here

Haha :) thats so sweet, like i spring fling, well, fling... Just a note, make sure your rhyming scheme flows throughout the poem. :) other than that, it was great. ~Audrey

I think you're really progressing, Stiggy. While you have not entirely quelled your raging hormones, you have managed nicely to use them in your work in moderation and disciplined. As with your umpteen burstings, I, too, find this write bursting with a freshness that's exhilarating. I honestly must note one line, however, that gave me pause..."Headfuls of hair pupeteered by a pleasant breeze." But that's just me. Great write.

I am quite fond of that line as well. Actually, I'm quite fond of the entire thing

As you should be. It IS a great write.
