    California Girls

    She got past my guard

    Over my wall

Knows how to send me to the stars

Sets me off with a simple touch

    She’s dangerous

    I can’t resist her

    And she knows it

    She has me

    And I fear it

Her type, are a dangerous brew

    For the Heart to stomach

Don’t have the strength to push her away

    Or close her out

I lay helplessly under her spell

I’ve laid my Love before her feet

    Stomping softly

    She’s crushing my Heart

    Left me in pieces

    Life goes on

Try to forget she ever was

Making the best of what’s left

But I’m still in her back yard

    California

    Her sisters are many

    And all the same

I have yet to meet one with in her family

    That’s different

    Or impresses me

    I’m over her

    And her entire dam family

thank you all for the feed back, wish I wasnt viewing home the way I am, but I've given up on finding Love in California, time for me to move to the country where I belong, where I hope I'll find True Love.

The detail of your heart truly speaks for itself. A lost love is never forgotten...but continues to plague the mind and soul until you are truly over them...very well written

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
