    Can I Just Be Me?

    you ask me to smart

    you ask me to dress lady like

    you ask me to wear make up and change my personality

    but can't i just be me

    you lock me in a room

    kept me away from all my friends

    moved every year to lose contact

    from those i adore

    you told me to change my dream

    you told me to lose weight

    you told me to drop dead

    but why can't i be me

    Im judge for being so big

    im judge for daring to dream

    im judge for not being perfect

    im judge for just being me

    when i sleep i finally smile

    cause im in a place i wish to be

    life is simple and im at ease

    but most importantly i can be me

    Kadome442 I dedicate this poem to you. It's titled To Be Me If a flower stops growing from no springtime, no raintime no sunshine I I want to be me when food is low,bills are due and there's noone to talk to I want to be me like the sounds of a jetplane flying high in the sky like smell of mama's collard greens I chose not to shy......shy away from wanting to be me.
