    Can't drink you away

     I went out with a friend last night
    I sang and danced all through the night...

    As I walked in my drunken way
    the thoughts of you wouldn't go away...

    I can't even drink you out of my mind
    you're my vtision of love, but yet you're so blind...

    The tears flowed down my swollen face
    now the painful numbness I seem to embrace...

    It is best to feel this hurt from inside
    it comes to me in waves, like the ocean tide...

    I still don't know why this pain lingers on
    you're out of my life, you've disappeared, you're gone...

    I guess it's because, I gave you my heart
    Never thinking we would shortly then part...

    You've taken something precious from me
    I can only hope I find my heart and be set free...

    Free from all our beautiful memories...

    I am so sorry he hurt you *hugs*. A broken heart is something from which recovery can take a long time. Just remember we're friends and if you ever want to talk, or if you'd like me to help you take your mind away from painful memories, I'm just a click away:)
