CAPTAIN MORGAN TEARS

CAPTAIN MORGAN TEARS

Captain Morgan Tears, she's cried them for thirty one years. I've listened that long. Yet, she, on the next day reappears alert, aware and strong, without a mention of a worry or care.

Everything goes as normal until time for rum and coke. Also, she has herself a little smoke. Soon, the fun turns into anger that she's held inside. Then, once again, rain down the Captain Morgan Tears. She begins to share all the years of emotional pain, that for the moment, are making her a little insane.

I've advised her to tell Captain Morgan goodbye, let him be the one to cry. I seriously worry, then she tells me another lie, not admitting she has a problem or is unhappy. When it is so apparent to me.

More than anything I wish to see her truly happy. My heart goes out to her time and time again. I have been a life long friend, who for her has fears. She needs to put this all to an end, and stop the Captain Morgan Tears.

Captain Morgan Tears is really a great lead in for the subject of alcoholism and how many react under the influence. Some people get happy, some cry, and others less fortunate for they're friends and loved ones get hostile. I like the originality of your title very much courage. good work. Sounds like you're a true friend :D

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
