    Care

    Care

Does someody care if I shed a tear?
Would you be there to rid me of my fear?
I say the words but it's as if I have no voice
I continue the silence I've made my choice

Loneliness is with me I beg of it to go
Crippiling me from running does it show?
Trying so hard to close perfection and angelic
So far away I gave up on this mission

Crashing and burning going up in flames
Tossing and turning I hate playing games
Waking to worry and sleeping to cry
With you I need a place for my head to lie

Sitting out in the dark with nothing but my mind
Replaying the incident when you left me behind
All I was, was honest and blunt
Now I sit here and there's one thing I want

Look me in the eyes to my face
Hold me in your warm embrace
Run your fingers through my hair
While I ask, will someone care

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
