    Poem Commentary

    I am so down today. Last night was such a miserable experience for me and has reminded me that I really am pathetic.

    Charms and Tattoo's
    Small little charm on my bracelet
    Do you have any idea what you represent
    Surely not, you could never know 
    How much you mean to me
    Tattoed on my flesh
    I was so certain with each needle poke
    My soul would be able to flit away
    At long last I would be free
    Nights like last remind me
    Just how stupid I really am
    Imprisoned in the hell you've created
    Leaving me powerless, unable to stand
    Little adornments on my bracelet and skin
    Were meant to empower me from with in
    Instead all they do is remind me of my flaws
    All the things I will never have
    No accomplishments, only failures
    With only myself to blame
