    • Learning that deliverance doesn't come without a birthing shroud...

    Cherish all the Seasons

    The rain has kissed
    the forests and the gardens,
    Stirred them
    from their hybernated trance.
    Sent the winds
    as sounding trumphets
    hailing,
    The Birthing Season
    Celebration Dance!

    The Host has chosen color
    for the Galas-
The magic of His artistry is cast,
    For color has been
    Birthing Shroud and Martyr,
    For all the elder seasons
    flowing past.

    Spring may hold the vibrance
    of the youngest,
    But bolder hues are sweet
    with summers' breath,
    While fall is bursting forth
    with all the drama,
    That foretells the sting of
    coming winters' death...

    That harshest season
is not hateful in its' bearing,
    Only cleansing before
    casting starts anew,
    For color waits in wings
    in turn impassioned,
    By future seasons
    waiting for their cue.

    So cherish all the seasons
    as they travel,
As the Host would not deter them,
    either one.
    For all the seasons rolling
    ever onward,
    Bring us closer
To the coming of the Son...

A beautiful, consistent phrased work involving all seasons into the future. Great write.

Ahhhh...Such beauty can be found in each season! Winter, of course, is my personal favorite. There is no beauty quite like that of a lonely pine, blanketed in a fresh fall of snow, that stands so starkly against the naked limbs of the forest. Beautiful poem. 10
