    Cherish You

     You came into my life
    On a cool autumn evening
    Offering the warmth of your heart

    In the morning hours
    We find solace together
    As our friendship grows

    Through your own pain
    You have reached out to me
    Soothing my tender heart

    A merciful angel
    You are to me
    Stay with me and never leave

    Your beautiful spirit
    Will shine in my heart
    I will cherish you forever
