    Child Abuse and Jesus Christ

    Child abuse completely
    Knocked me off my feet
    I'd like to thank Jesus Christ
    For making my life complete

    Child abuse was eroding my life
    And stealing my joy
    Jesus Christ's love brought it back
    I was like a kid with a new toy

    Child abuse came close
    To costing me my life
    Jesus Christ sent down an
    Angel and made her my wife

    Child abuse almost turned
    Me into a killer
    Jesus Christ's love turned
    Me into a rock hard pillar

    Child abuse messed with my
    Mind, my heart, and my soul
    Jesus Christ's love made
    My life completely whole

    Child abuse overwhelmed me
    And filled my life with fear
    Jesus Christ said I want you to hear
    That love casteth out all fear

    Child abuse kept me
    From being ordinary
    Jesus Christ's love turned
    Me into extraordinary
