When I cried of hunger, you were there.

When I suffered with sickness, you were there.

When I was lonly and reached out to you, away you turned from me and there I was left standing all alone. But, you were there.

When I called for you in the night and had only tears to moisten my lips...you were there.

How can I not love you, you gave me life.

Why should I not love you, you are the soul essence of my existance, my root, my core...you were there.

Where there is no life, there is no love.

Where there is no love, there is no heart.

Where there is no heart, there is no acceptance. But I'll always be here ...

And I'll always love you, Because you were always there

Your poetry affects me very strongly. Your repetitive phrasing is very effective. Your themes , heart wrenching.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
