    Child of Wrath

    Wrath, destruction, sorrow filled town

In the middle, stands a child alone

All the anguish absorbed by the child

The child's heart, solidified in stone

The child grows, fueled with rage

Family, friends, the home all gone

Revenge, the only thought in mind

Vengeance all day, dusk till dawn

Using others for what their worth

The target appears at horizon's end

    Rage consumes, sorrow forever haunts

Vengeance, the only thought in the end

"If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight." - Children Learn What They Live. :] This poem reminds me of that. You write a lot of poems that reminds me of stuff. o.o Good job.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
