    Chills...

    Eastern Winds
    Canadian chills
    Storms
    Of artic thoughts

    Mother Nature
    Changes her dress
    As it changes too...
    Orange
    Red
    Brown

    To see the first
    The first snows
    As the grey blankets come
    Above Mother Earth

I feel the chills of my birth
    October cooling
    As I walk along time
    Aging
    Becoming wiser

Seeing the Dancing of the leaves
    Falling... Falling... Falling...
towards the covering of naked Earth
Feeling the skin of time as...
As I let the soil in my hand fall
    To feel Alive

    To feel my birth
    A celebration
    Of the Chills
    That make me feel alive
    Alive

    Those winds that I feel
    Crisp and cool
    Seeing my breath
    Breath freeze
    to see the water vapor

    To remember
    To remember

    Chills...

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
